Arcano and Canford Cliffs feature among five runners in a fascinating renewal of the Bathwick Tyres Greenham Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.

Brian Meehan's Arcano came out on top when the pair clashed in last year's Prix Morny at Deauville and both horses have next month's StanJames.com 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on their agendas.

Canford Cliffs had earlier annihilated his rivals in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot and Richard Hannon's colt is at present the clear second favourite for the season's first Classic behind St Nicholas Abbey.

Hannon also saddles Dick Turpin in Saturday's Group Three event, while Doncaster maiden winner Bullwhip and Rodrigo De Torres complete the field.
