A number of offers for Great Leighs will be considered by the joint administrators this weekend as they continue to seek a speedy conclusion to the affair.
The track has been closed since 15 January when its temporary licence expired, with the British Horseracing Authority refusing a further extension.
Great Leighs, the first new track to open in Britain in nearly 71 years, has been the subject of some interest and the administrators will contact all the relevant parties.
They then plan to enter into detailed negotiations with a shortlist of preferred bidders that will also be introduced to the BHA to discuss licence applications.
Carlton Siddle, joint administrator and Deloitte Partner, commented: 'We remain hopeful that a sale of the business and the granting of a full licence to new owners can be achieved, allowing the new owners to stage the remaining 2009 fixtures as soon as possible.'
