Nicky Henderson is likely to leave Chomba Womba in the Greatwood Handicap Hurdle at the confirmation stage following her victory at Wincanton.
The seven-year-old mare claimed the scalp of Champion Hurdle winner Katchit in the Elite Hurdle on her seasonal debut on Saturday.
Now the Seven Barrows trainer will have a look at the race at Cheltenham on Sunday, for which a 5lb penalty would bring her weight up to 11st 12lb before the handicapper has chance to reassess her.
'It was a handicap, she was getting a lot of weight, but she's done it very well,' said Henderson.
'I might well just stick her in the Greatwood and I'll also have a look at the Ascot Hurdle in a fortnight's time. She looked a two-miler on Saturday and it's two miles and three furlongs at Ascot.
'I don't know - we don't have to rush into any decisions and I think she's probably quite good fresh, so perhaps she doesn't want to run again too quick. It slightly depends what the handicapper is going to do.
'If he wants to throw a stone at her then we'll have to run her with a 5lb penalty. It wouldn't be my first choice, but we'll just see.
Henderson did, however, rule Sentry Duty out of the Greatwood.
'He's fine, but I certainly wouldn't be in a rush to run him again,' added the handler.
'He's fresh and he can still just squeeze into the Ladbroke. But he's going to be at the top of the handicap not at the bottom and he's not very big, so we'll be just be looking at other things for him.'
Henderson is set to give his Champion Hurdle hopefuls Punjabi and Binocular their first runs of the winter in the near future.
'Punjabi is going for the 'Fighting Fifth' at Newcastle and Binocular will go to Haydock on Saturday week for the hurdle race up there,' he said.
Punjabi could put himself in line for a #1million bonus from WBX.com, who sponsor the Newcastle feature on November 29.
The cash is up for grabs should one horse complete the "Fighting Fifth", Christmas Hurdle and Champion Hurdle treble.
