Nina Carberry and Declan McDonogh were in good form at Laytown on Thursday when they both recorded doubles
The first leg of Carberry's double came aboard Gordan Elliott's Grand Opera.
The second leg of her double came aboard the Eddie Lynam trained Munich to win The Pat's Centra (Q.R) Race for owner R Behan.
Carberry shot clear of the rest from over 2f out and stayed on well to hold off the efforts of Ger Lyon's Romeo's On Fire with Andrew Duff doing the steering by four lengths.
McDonogh initiated his brace aboard the Dick Donoghue trained Mt Weather.
The second leg of his double came aboard the Gordan Elliott trained Silidan who won The Castlemartin Final Sales Claiming Race for owner James Morrow.
Elliott said afterwards: 'Only bought him at the Doncaster Sales recently. He's in good form I rode himself on the sand last week all 14 stone of me!! Declan gave him a great ride. He's is rated very low and it's difficult to find races for him.'
