Admission to Friday's penultimate day of the Tralee Festival will be FREE for all racegoers, thanks to the generosity of trainer Jim Bolger.
Bolger will sponsor the gate this afternoon on a card that features the listed Kerryman Ruby Stakes, in which he saddles Anna's Rock. First race goes to post at 3.25pm.
'Tralee has been very good to me down the years and I just wanted to give something back,' said Bolger.
'I would people who go today to give something towards the St Vincent de Paul society which has done great charity work in Ireland for years.'
