The Kerryman Ruby Stakes is the highlight on the penultimate day of the Tralee festival where the action gets underway at 3.25pm.

The Listed race looks a tricky contest to figure out and proven soft ground performer Crooked Throw may be the one to follow.

Charlie Swan's charge ran a cracker when just edged out by Incline in the Galway Mile earlier this month.

He should again hold Absolute Image, who was a head behind on 2lb better terms then.

Deauville Vision holds the top rating of 102 but hasn't been firing lately while John Oxx's Sandtime showed significant improvement when taking her maiden at Naas last time and is an interesting contender.

There is also a €40,000 Nursery on the card and Brazilian Star can prove the class act in the nine-runner event.

Kevin Prendergast's charge didn't run up to form last time in a Tipperary Listed event but had previously chased home the exciting New Approach at Leopardstown.

Wrong Number may be able to get his head in front in the opening maiden while Alabama Banjo looks the one to
beat in the amateur maiden hurdle.
