Connections of Eagle Mountain are confident the dual Derby-placed colt can make the most of a drop in class at York tomorrow.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained three-year-old, runner-up to Authorized in the Vodafone Derby and third behind stablemate Soldier Of Fortune in the Irish equivalent, is one of eight runners in the Group Two Sky Bet York Stakes over 10 furlongs.
He will be ridden by Seamus Heffernan and is seeking to atone for an unfortunate experience at Longchamp last time out, where he unseated Kieren Fallon in an incident which led to the latter missing the winning ride on Peeping Fawn in the Irish Oaks.
Heffernan, who guided O'Brien's Theann to victory on the Kanvesmire earlier this month, said: "I am looking forward to riding him. He has been a little bit unlucky this year. He is consistent and was a little unlucky the last day in Longchamp.
‘However, he ran a good race in the Epsom Derby and the Irish Derby, so I am looking forward to the ride. He seems like a horse that handles the soft ground, so the ground or the trip wouldn't be a worry.
‘He looks to have a slight advantage with the weights and with a bit of luck, if he travels well and goes well, he'll run a good race.’
