RTÉ Sport at the Galway Races

RTÉ coverage of the 2007 Galway Racing Festival will mark 70 years of broadcasting from Ballybrit by the national broadcaster.

RTÉ Radio, known as Radio Éireann at the time, broadcast its first live commentary from the Galway Races in 1937 and the festival has been an annual feature in the station’s summer schedule since then.
