Invasor floored Bernardini to land the Breeders' Cup Classic for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin.

Fernando Jara came fast and late on the four-year-old, owned by Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum, to catch Bernardini inside the final furlong.

Premium Tap was third and Giacomo fourth while the Aidan O'Brien-trained George Washington ran well for most of the way until fading out of contention in the straight.
