Aidan O'Brien's Eagle Mountain will face 13 rivals in Saturday's Racing Post Trophy at Newbury.

The Group One contest over a mile is usually run at Doncaster, however, due to redevelopment this year's renewal will be run at the Berkshire venue instead.

O'Brien has won the race four times in the past 10 years and Eagle Mountain will spearhead a four-pronged attack after cruising to success in the Beresford Stakes at the Curragh earlier in the month.

The Ballydoyle-handler also has Great Sphinx, Malacara and Red Rock Canyon engaged.

Michael Bell will be bidding to follow up Motivator's success two years ago with Regime, who finished second behind Miss Beatrix in the inaugural running of the Goffs Million.

Barry Hills will rely on Tattersall Stakes winner Thousand Words while Kevin Ryan, who won the race with Palace Episode 12 months ago runs Prince Golan.

Mark Johnston will run both Solario Stakes winner Drumfire and Teslin while Medicine Path, second in the Royal Lodge Stakes, will take his chance for Eoghan O'Neill.

The field is completed by Authorized, Charlie Farnsbarns, Petara Bay and Sunshine Kid.
