Marco Botti's unbeaten filly Sesmen is set to face seven rivals in the Meon Valley Stud Fillies' Mile at Ascot on Saturday.

After stretching her 100% record to three successes in the Prestige Stakes at Goodwood, the filly was supplemented for this Group One contest at a cost of £20,000 at Monday's confirmation stage.

Facing her stiffest test to date, she will be opposed by Simply Perfect and English Ballet, who finished first and second respectively in the May Hill Stakes at York two weeks ago.

Michael Stoute will saddle last month's Beverley winner Lost In Wonder for The Queen, Stan Moore has declared his Breeders' Cup hopeful Satulagi and Mick Channon runs Treat, who opened her account in a maiden at Nottingham recently.

The line-up is completed by two Irish raiders - Tommy Stack's Alexander Tango and the Jim Bolger-trained Gaudeamus.
The pair renew rivalry after finishing fifth and eighth behind Goffs Million heroine Miss Beatrix in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh last time.
