Kieren Fallon teams up with Ivan Denisovich in the Group One Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly tomorrow.

The six-times champion jockey is allowed to ride in France despite being banned in Britain after being charged as part of a police investigation into alleged race-fixing.

He has said he will appeal against yesterday's decision by the Horseracing Regulatory Authority.

Ivan Denisovich, third under Fallon in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, is among a field of 11 for the mile contest.

His trainer Aidan O'Brien also saddles Arabian Prince, the mount of Seamus Heffernan.

The home challenge is led by Nicolas Clement's Stormy River, who finished a length and three-quarters ahead of Ivan Denisovich when runner-up to Araafa at Royal Ascot. Clement also runs Marchand D'Argent.

Alain de Royer Dupre is also double handed with the Aga Khan's Dilek, winner of his last four starts, and Kentucky Dynamite.

Mick Channon will only be represented by German 2000 winner Royal Power as Yasoodd, his other intended runner, has met with a setback.

Channon said: "Unfortunately Yasoodd has knocked himself and won't be able to run which is a shame as I hear they have had a fair bit of rain.

"But I'm looking forward to running Royal Power as he well relish the ground."

The sole filly in the contest is Carlos Laffon-Parias' Impressionnante, winner of a Group Two over the course and distance last month.
