Johnny Murtagh begins his spell riding over hurdles with three rides at Navan on Saturday.

The Meathman starts off with Tomorrow's Dream for Curragh trainer Michael Halford in the opening INH Stallion Owners EBF Maiden Hurdle.

"I'm looking forward to it," said Murtagh.

"I've got three rides tomorrow at Naas and one at Navan on Sunday.

Halford, who retains Murtagh, confirmed the rider was ready for the new challenge.

"Johnny's well tuned for it and can't wait to get going. He came down this morning and schooled the Tomorrow's."

"His first ride is for me but it looks a good race with Travino, Geill Sli and Forty Licks in there. Let's hope they come back safe and sound."

Murtagh's other rides at Naas are Threequarter Moon in the Racing At Naas On January 8th Handicap Hurdle for Tony Seymourand All Heart for Tom Mullins in the Ardmore Blood Booster Hurdle.
