David Nicholls' hand for the totesport Ayr Gold Cup has been strengthened by Traytonic's arrival from James Fanshawe's yard.
The four-year-old has joined Nicholls and is currently 12-1 with the sponsors to win the six-furlong dash.
"James told Traytonic's owner, Steve Parkin, a few weeks ago that the horse might benefit from a change of scene and kindly suggested our stable," Nicholls told the Racing Post.
"I've known Mr Parkin for a long time and was delighted to get the horse. The plan is definitely to aim for the Ayr Gold Cup and Traytonic is sure to get in because he's well up the weights.
Traytonic was last seen finishing 16th behind Goodricke in the Group One William Hill Sprint Cup at Haydock on September 3.
