Maraahel, a close third in a thrilling finish to the Juddmonte International at York last week, will not line up in Saturday's totepool Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor.

The four-year-old, trained by Michael Stoute, would have been a leading fancy for the Group Three contest over a mile and a quarter after being beaten inches by Electrocutionist and Zenno Rob Roy at York.

"He won't run at Windsor. As for future plans, I've not spoken to anyone about them yet," said Angus Gold, racing manager to Maraahel's owner Hamdan Al Maktoum.
