Jeremy Noseda has declared star colt Proclamation to be in good order following his heroics in the Cantor Spreadfair Sussex Stakes last Wednesday.
The son of King's Best showed himself to be a top-class colt at Glorious Goodwood in midweek, landing his first Group One contest, and in the process defeating Soviet Song.
Now Noseda plans to ease up on his charge before setting his sights on a late-summer and autumn campaign, that may include cracks at the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and the Breeders' Cup Mile.
"He has come back in good order," Noseda explained to his website, www.jeremynoseda.com.
"He has eaten up everything since Goodwood and both physically and mentally looks to have taken his race really well."
"At this point we are going to relax with him over the next couple of weeks and have a chat with Sheikh Mohammed and his wife Princess Haya to decide future plans."
"The targets that remain over the rest of the season are pretty obvious but the final decision will, of course, lie with the horse's owners."
