Granit d'Estruval, fresh from his victory in the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, goes in search of a big race double in the Scottish equivalent at Ayr on Saturday.
The Ferdy Murphy-trained was one of 30 declared at the 48 hour declaration stage for the Ayr marathon.
Explaining the decision to turn out again so quickly, the trainer said: "He ate up on Monday night in Ireland and travelled back really well. He had a couple of hours out in the paddock here on Tuesday night, had a swim yesterday and today he's had a canter and he's perfect, there's not a bother on him.
"We're very happy with him and they've had some rain up there as well which has also helped influence our decision.
Brian Harding, the winning pilot at Fairyhouse will again be on board. Murphy will also be represented by Luzcadou, a first-fence casualty at Aintree earlier this month.
Course specialist Grey Abbey, who is now trained by Howard Johnson, heads the weights on 11st 12lb and the maximum field will also include Sue Smith's fancied pair of Simply Supreme and Tipsy Mouse.
Stormez, runner-up to Ryalux in a thrilling finish to last year's race, is one of five runners for Martin Pipe along with Chicuelo, Maximize, Akarus and Carryonharry.
Other leading fancies to stand their ground include Native Emperor (Jonjo O'Neill), Desailly (Toby Balding), Midland Flame (Henrietta Knight), Gunther McBride (Philip Hobbs) and Rodalko (Oliver Sherwood).
