Jonjo O'Neill has decided not to send over Champion Hurdle hope Intersky Falcon for Sunday's AIG European Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown.
Part owner Terry McDermott told the Racing Post: "Intersky Falcon is not going to go to Ireland. I spoke to Jonjo and he doesn't want the hassle of travelling him over there."
In his last run, Falcon took the Pertemps Christmas Hurdle at Kempton, and is a general 6/1 for the Smurfit sponsered feature on March 16.
He now may go straight to the Festival, with the other option being the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton on February 21. The ground is expected to be a key factor, for if it is heavy at Wincanton, he is unlikely to run.
