UCD, in association with Horse Racing Ireland, have announced details of this year's Horse Racing Course at the Belfield campus.
The course, which runs for ten weeks, covers every aspect of the racing industry, including the role of Trainers, Owners, Breeders, Jockeys, the Turf Club, Horse Racing Ireland, Racecourse Management, Betting, the Equine Centre, as well as the Racing Press and Media.
The course, which has been very successful to date, features over 35 high profile lecturers from all areas of the Irish Racing Industry. Previous courses have attracted an average 300 students each term.
The fifth course is due to start on Monday January 26 and will finish on Monday March 29. Classes will be from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

It costs £150 for the ten weeks and includes a day at the races, with free admission ticket, as well as a visit to the world famous Coolmore Stud, Fethard, Co. Tipperary.
