After recovering from an autumn setback quicker than expected Florida Pearl could take his place in the Ericsson Chase at Leopardstown on Sunday week.
Trainer Willie Mullins is pleased with the progress the 11yo has made. He stated: "Florida Pearl is coming along well and is much better in himself than we expected after his problem."
Stablemate, Alexander Banquet, who missed all of last season due to injury, is also coming back to himself & he too may take his place in the Ericsson.
As of now, a top class field could line up on Sunday week. The inclusion of Beef Or Salmon, Keen Leader and possibly dual Gold Cup winner Best Mate would make for a fascinating contest.
