Gowran Park stages a six race card on Thursday, comprising of five hurdle races and a concluding INH Flat Race.
The concluding race may provide punters with the best betting opportunity with Noel Meade's Factor Two and Christy Roche's Top Of The Right reopposing here after finishing third and fourth respectively in a Navan bumper last month.
Although Factor Two was making his racecourse debut, Top Of The Right was reappearing after an eighteen month layoff and was only three parts of a length behind Meade's charge. Roche's gelding is sure to benefit from that race and may represent some value.
Willie Mullins' Arch Stanton looks to have an ideal opportunity of losing his maiden status in the two mile novice hurdle. The son of Lahib is rated 124 but failed to win over hurdles last season.
Although he now makes his seasonal debut, Mullins is sure to have the gelding fully fit although Star Of Bethlehem is possible danger after his maiden hurdle win recently and would be an appropriately named winner.
Star Of Bethlehem's trainer Michael O'Brien looks to have found an ideal opportunity for his Stashedaway in the two mile mares' novice chase. The six year old easily won a beginners' chase at Punchestown recently and a clear round of jumping should see her double up here.
