Michael Kinane’s term as stable jockey to the all conquering Ballydoyle stable is about to come to an end according to a report on www.irish-racing.com. Champion jockey Kinane will end his association with Aidan O’Brien’s yard tomorrow and is expected to ride freelance next season.
No decision has yet been made as to who will replace Kinane in the plum job, but early indications point towards Jamie Spencer, godson of one of the most important owners with horses at Ballydoyle, John Magnier.
