Trainer Luca Cumani has yet to confirm which Breeders' Cup race Falbrav will run in on Saturday week, as the final decision will rest with the horses owners.
The five-year-old was entered for both the Breeders' Cup Turf and the Breeders' Cup Classic yesterday at a cost of $120,000. Although the Turf was stated as Falbrav's first preference, Cumani has not ruled out a run in the 4million Classic on the dirt track.
The ultimate dedecision will be left to owners Luciano Salice and Teruya Yoshida who are equal partners in the horse.
Cumani told the Racing Post: "We stated a preference for the Turf, but don't read anything into that. It's purely to do with the structure of refunds if anything went wrong."
"It's up to the owners to decide. I'm going to try to get the horse there in the best possible shape and the owners will decide if they want to go for the big gamble or whether they want to play safe."
