Dalakhani pleased trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre in a gallop at Chantilly this morning ahead of his run in Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
The three-year-old is a general 7-4 favourite for the mile and a half race at Longchamp after winning both the Group One Prix Lupin and the French Derby this season. Dalakhani won the Prix Foy on his last start but his trainer felt that there was still some improvement to come.
The son of Darshaan pleased connections in a seven furlong gallop today and Royer-Dupre said: "He went well. He's improved a lot since his last run and one could say that he seems to have got stronger since that race."
