Tralee hosts an all Flat card on Friday, including the Guinness Gold Cup where the first of seven races starts at 2.30pm.
The feature event is the €60,000 Guinness Gold Cup and sees a competitive field of ten runners. Top weight Mutakarrim keeps the weights down for the remainder of the field, with a 12lb gap the second top rated horse, Englishtown.
Englishtown's trainer John Oxx is also represented by Zimbabwe with the latter likely to be better fancied, with Fran Berry due to take the ride.
Zimbabwe finished a close second in the Ladies Derby at The Curragh in July, having previously won at the same venue in a competitive Handicap in June. A reproduction of that effort may be enough in this open looking contest.
The €50,000 one mile Premier Nursery looks another tricky race for punters, with most of the field holding every chance. Preference is for Dancing Colors, whose trainer Dermot Weld's yard is in fine form at present.
The selection has run up a number of placed efforts but can be given another chance under Pat Smullen.
Trainer Declan Gilliepie's Eura Star is sure to be well fancied in the seven furlong Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap and could provide punters with some value having encountered trouble in running on his two previous starts.
