Dettori to ride Vintage Tipple in the Irish Oaks

Frankie Dettori will partner Vintage Tipple in the Darley Irish Oaks, which takes centre stage during the Curragh's two day Summer Racing Carnival.

The daughter of Entrepeneur will attempt to become the first Group 1 winner of a flat race for trainer Paddy Mullins since Harry Harriet won the Champion Stakes at Newmarket in 1973.

The filly has recovered well having been off the track due to injury since finshing second in the Athasi Stakes last April and she reportedly worked well on the Curragh earler this week.

Dettori will also ride the Mark Johnston trained Leicester Square in the Dubai Duty Free Anglesey Stakes and With Reson trained by David Loder in the Emiraates Airline Minstrel Stakes.

The ground is expected to be good over the weekend according to racecourse general manager Paul Hensey, with a dry forecast predicted.
