Festival of Racing at the Curragh for Oaks weekend

A quality field is likely to line in next Sunday's Darley Oaks at the Curragh - the centrepiece of the Summer Festival of Racing at the County Kildare venue.

Epsom Oaks winner and runner up Casual Look and Yesterday, Ribblesdale Stakes winner Spanish Sun and runner up Ocean Silk, together with recent Audi Pretty Polly Stakes winner Hanami are likely to head the impressive line up for the Oaks, which carries a prize fund of €400,000. The Group One classic will also attract Vintage Tipple who returns to action following injury.

A superb line up of races will include the Group 2 Goffs International Stakes on Saturday, while Sunday’s program also features the €100,000 Ladbrokes Rockingham Handicap, together with the Group 3 Emirates Airline Minstrel Stakes and Dubai Duty Free Anglesey Stakes.

French based Thalgo, who specialise in an exclusive range of body care products will add their name to the Ladies Derby for the first time, while the Kildare based The Travel Studio and Byrne Rental Equipment from Dubai will also support Oaks Day for the first time.
