Two Limerick racemeetings abandoned

The meetings scheduled for Limerick on April 16 and May 5 have been abandoned after the course was found to be unfit for racing.

The Turf Club Inspector of Courses found that the problem had arisen because of the recent dry spell of weather, following eight days racing since December 26 on winter ground.

Horse Racing Ireland has announced two replacement fixtures at Tipperary on Wednesday April 16 and Cork on Monday May 5.
