Barry Geraghty secured the title of leading jockey for the meeting when Spirit Leader landed the concluding Vincent O'Brien County Hurdle. The Jessica Harrington-trained mare was Geraghty's fifth success at this year'sFestival and brought the Irish tally for the meeting to six winners.
Earlier, Geraghty rode his fourth winner of the Festival when partnering Spectroscope to win the JCB Triumph Hurdle.
In an incident-packed race the Jonjo O'Neill-trained juvenile got the better of a thrilling battle with Well Chief to claim the spoils close home. The Mick Halford-trained Golden Cross was best of the Irish in third, just ahead of French challenger Lilium De Cotte.
There was drama at the flight at the top of the hill where Old California, who was in second place, came down. He fired Rodi Greene into the ground and brought down three rivals.
