Confidence high in Pizarro camp

Connections of Pizarro are confident of a bold showing from the likely favourite in tomorrow's Royal & SunAlliance Novices' Chase at Cheltenham. The Edward O'Grady-trained six-year-old won the bumper here last year when he beat Rhinestone Cowboy and has taken well to hurdles, his only defeat coming at the hands of Solerina when his stable was under a cloud.

Pizarro is set to face 19 rivals in the opening contest on day two of the Festival. He will be severely tested tomorrow by the likes of Coolnagorna, Lord Sam, Saitensohn and Sh Boom.
