Cheltenham Trial day at Naas

The Cheltenham Trial Day gets underway at 2.20 with an exciting racecard of seven races featuring three Grade 2 races with €216,000 of prize money on offer.

The Grade 2 Paddy & Helen Cox Memorial Newlands Steeplechase worth €60,000 has a great line-up which includes David's Lad, winner of 2001 Irish Grand National. Dermot Weld's Stage Affair, who is entered in the Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy race at Cheltenham is also in the race.

Fadoudal Du Cochet, winner at Cheltenham last year, and Copernicus who won the Woodlands Park 100 Club Popular Square Steeplechase beating Native Upmanship will, no doubt, provide testing opposition.
