Aquila gets the vote in Lartigue Hurdle

The Listowel Supporters Club Lartigue Handicap Hurdle is the feature race on Day 2 of the September Festival where the first is due off at 2.35pm. Find The King heads the weights for the 13-runner centrepiece but light-weight Aquila Oculus gets the vote to score for Gowran handler Tony Mullins.

Her latest victory over hurdles came at Tralee when she justified favouritism and despite a disappointing effort on the level since she is taken to score again over the smaller obstacles.

Royal Ulay proved a big disappointment on her seasonal bow at Galway earlier this month but Tommy Stack's three-year-old had some useful form as a juvenile and the fast ground should see her draw in the Tote Exacta Maiden.

Major Title has proved a frustrating sort to follow posting a string of seconds in the past, including runner-up to National Honour at Galway on testing ground, but he will relish the surface here and may be the solution to mile maiden.
