The Jockey Club has confirmed that three trainers - Ferdy Murphy, Jamie Osborne and David Wintle - are to answer the charge of bringing racing into disrepute after appearing on a BBC television documentary earlier this year.
Kenyon Confronts claimed to expose alleged cheating in racing after secretly filming the three men concerned. Wintle will also face two other charges over the running and riding of Seattle Alley and whether he behaved "violently or improperly" at Stratford after he was seen to be in a struggle with Paul Kenyon on the programme.
The trio have each independently claimed since the programme that their comments were either misinterpreted or taken out of context.
