Dual Derby winner High Chaparral will miss his scheduled clash with Prix du Jockey-Club winner Sulamani in Sunday's Prix Niel at Longchamp. The Epsom and Irish Derby winner was due to meet his French equivalent in the mile and a half contest at the Parisian track, but both he and stablemate Black Sam Bellamy were not among the final declarations this morning.
The three-year-old`s trainer Aidan O`Brien had emphasised the horse would only run if his blood picture was satisfactory as the Ballydoyle yard bids to bounce back from a bout of the cough.
The Pascal Bary-trained Sulamani will face just two rivals in the Prix de l`Arc de Triomphe trial, Gulf News and Morozov both from the yard of Andre Fabre.
