Connections of Bandari have yet to commit the colt to a run in the Rothmans Royals St Leger. The son of Alhaarth is the Tote's 11-4 favourite for the final Classic of the season following his win in the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York two weeks ago.
Bandari has also bagged the Peugeot Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, another traditional pointer to the Leger, after disappointing when fancied for the Vodafone Derby. The Mark Johnston-trained colt was bought before his Derby run by Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum and the handler has indicated the owner has yet to decide where to run Bandari.
