Curragh takes centre stage on Saturday

The Curragh has the stage to itself on Saturday when the Tattersalls Breeders Stakes is the feature event on a seven race card. A strong cross-channel raiding party has been put together for this valuable contest and only the very brave would bet that the majority of the prize money will stay at home. Tout Seul has plenty going for him and gets the nod just ahead of the Richard Hannon-trained pair of Let's Party and Cosmo.

The Listed Belgrave Stakes is an open looking contest and perhaps Carallia, the well supported winner of an apprentice race at Naas last time, will come out on top. The Group 2 Futurity Stakes sees Van Nistelrooy put his unbeaten record on the line and it may be worth taking on the likely favourite with the Jim Bolger-trained Dramadoir.

Bolger can get the afternoon off to a winning start with Colourfast in the sprint maiden and his Hasina could complete a treble for the Wexford man in the concluding eight furlong race.
