Michael Kinane will partner the Richard Hannon trained Cosmo in the Tattersalls Breeders Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. Hannon, who will attempt to win the E300,000 contest for the sixth time, will also run Let’s Party (Dane O’Neill).
Fulke Johnson Houghton confirmed that likely favourite Tout Seul will be ridden by Steve Carson. Kevin Prendergast will lead the home trained challenge for the race and has indicated that he is likely to have five runners including Cat Belling and Catoffle.
The Aidan O’Brien trained Van Nistelrooy is set to make his third appearance at the Co Kildare track when he is likely to face his stiffest task to date in the Galileo Futurity Stakes. British trained runners could include the Brian Meehan trained Hilbre Island and recent Doncaster winner Wilful trained by Mark Johnston. Richard Hannon has left July Stakes runner up Tacitus in the Group 2 contest, but will only run if the ground is soft.
