Sakhee could still take run in next month's Ireland The Food Island Champion Stakes at Leopardstown, Godolphin racing manager Simon Crisford revealed today.
Sakhee has failed to recapture last year's tremendous form in his races so far this season and could only manage second to Wellbeing at Deauville on his return to action in Europe last week.
The Leopardstown Group One, where Sakhee could meet dual Derby winner High Chaparral, had been nominated as the Bahri horse's target before his Deauville run and Crisford confirmed that it would be his next race if connections were happy with his progress in the meantime.
