Golan heads competitive line-up for Juddmonte

Golan heads a field of just seven horses for Tuesday's Juddmonte International Stakes at York. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained four-year-old is set to renew rivalries with Marcus Tregoning's Nayef after the pair finished first and second respectivelyin the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot.

The pair are joined by Godolphin's Noverre, who will be tackling the 10 furlong trip for the first time and No Excuse Needed, who is also trained by Stoute. Starbourne will represent the stable of Aidan O'Brien while recent Curragh winner Chancellor is set to take his chance for Barry Hills. The field is completed by the David Elsworth-trained Indian Creek.
