Leading ante-post fancy Highest will bypass the Tote Ebor at York on Wednesday in favour of a tilt at the Great Voltigeur Stakes the day before. There were no other surprise absentees at the confirmation stage with 37 horses left in the race.
Dual Classic winner Kazzia heads the 14 acceptors for Wednesday's Group One Aston Upthorpe Yorkshire Oaks. Also among the confirmations was Sir Michael Stoute's Nassau Stakes winner Islington, Aidan O'Brien's pair Quarter Moon and Starbourne and Irresistible Jewel from the Dermot Weld stable.
Aidan O'Brien has a possible four representatives left in Wednesday's Scottish Equitable Gimcrack Stakes. The champion trainer has France, Great Pyramid, Irrawaddy and Miguel Cervantes in the six-furlong Group Two event at today's confirmation stage. A total of 21 juveniles were left in the race, including Ketan, Masterpoint and Royal Beacon from the in-form Mark Johnston yard.
