The Listed Blue Wind Stakes is the highlight of an attractive eight-race mixed card at Cork on Friday, with the action due to commence at 5pm. Nine are set to face the starter for the 1m2f feature, and in-form Jim Bolger's import Villa Carlotta looks the one to beat following her recent Irish debut at the Curragh. The four-year-old must concede weight all round, but if reproducing her third to Rebelline in the Mooresbridge Stakes should have too many guns for Chill Seeking and Chiming.
Wednesday's Gowran scorer Leinster Mills turns out again quickly to bid for his fourth win in five outings in an interesting 1m2f handicap, but Bolger looks to hold the key once again here. The Coolcullen handler runs both Masnada and Margarula, with the latter getting the vote after being penalised just 5lb for last Sunday's Leopardstown triumph. Jim Dreaper's Christmas Crackle has always looked the type to do well over fences, and may shade likely market rival Hill Port in the 3m beginners chase.
