Williamson breaks leg at Punchestown

Norman Williamson has suffered a fracture of his lower right leg in a fall at Punchestown today. He was taken Naas Hospital after a heavy fall from Camden West at the third last fence in the North Kildare Farmers Handicap Chase.

He also suffered concussion and was taken to hospital wearing a neck support although those injuries are not thought to be serious. He will be transferred tonight to see an orthopaedic surgeon in Tallaght.
