Henderson team target Punchestown Festival

Nicky Henderson is planning to send over a strong team, including Tiutchev and Landing Light, for next week's Punchestown Festival. The trainer has indicated that provided the ground is not too fast, Tiutchev will be aimed at the BMW Chase on the opening day of the meeting next Tuesday. Tiutchev is already a course and distance winner having won the Swordlestown Novice Chase two years ago.

Stable jockey Mick Fitzgerald is also hoping to ride Henderson's Landing Light in the Emo Oil Champion Hurdle on the Friday. The E135,000 feature could also be a target for Smurfit Champion Hurdle winner Hors La Loi who bypassed Aintree due to lameness.

Henderson expects to run Greenope in the Punchestown Exhibition and Event Centre Champion Four-Year-Old Hurdle. Another four-year-old likely to be in Henderson's team for Punchestown is Epervier D'Or which has a number of engagements at the meeting.
