Johannesburg confirmed for Curragh run

Last year's Breeders Cup Juvenile winner Johannesburg will make his seasonal reappearance in the Castlemartin and La Louviere Studs Gladness Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. His trainer Aidan O'Brien will also be represented by Shoal Creek in the Group Three contest over seven furlongs.

A field of seven runners for the race also includes Pretty Polly Stakes winner Rebelline, the Dermot Weld-trained pair Tarry Flynn and Cool Clarity, One Won One from the Joanna Morgan stable and the John Oxx-trained Gaelic Queen.

O'Brien's Epsom Derby favourite Hawk Wing and classic contender Rock Of Gibraltar will work after racing at the Curragh.
