Business and Pearl clash in Martell Cup

See More Business heads a small but select field of six horses declared for the £120,000 Martell Cup Chase at Aintree tomorrow. Paul Nicholls' 12-year-old finished an excellent third to Best Mate in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last month.

He landed this event in 2000 but disappointed last season. His main danger this time around would appear to be the Willie Mullins-trained Florida Pearl. Barry Geraghty takes the ride on the King George VI Chase winner for the first time.

Tony McCoy, fresh from breaking the all-time record for number of winners ridden in a season, is on Cyfor Malta for his boss Martin Pipe. The field is completed by the Mary Reveley-trained Sleeping Night, Henrietta Knight's Lord Noelie and David Williams' Noyan.
