Tony McCoy will hope to edge closer to Sir Gordon Richards' record of 269 winners in a season when he travels to Hereford for two rides today. His mounts Roxby Explorer in the Manny Bernstein Pay Double Result Maiden Hurdle at 3.10 and Admiral Peary in the closing bumper at 4.40 appear to have good chances.
McCoy, who was out of luck with his only ride at Ayr on Monday, starts today on the 264-winner mark.
