A field of 18 is set to line-up for the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup tomorrow, headed by long-time ante-post favourite Looks Like Trouble, who will be bidding to follow up his success of two years ago in the feature race.
Trainer Willie Mullins has declared Conor O'Dwyer as the jockey on Florida Pearl in the tomorrow's Festival showpiece. The plum ride became available when Adrian Maguire, who won the Pertemps King George VI Chase on the horse, was ruled out after suffering neck injuries in a fall at Warwick on Saturday.
Mullins also runs his Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup winner Alexander Banquet, who will be ridden by Barry Geraghty. The other Irish raiders are Ted Walsh's Commanche Court, Frances Crowley's duo Moscow Express and Sackville, and the Mouse Morris-trained Foxchapel King.
Nicky Henderson has two major contenders in the field with Bacchanal and Marlborough going to post. Henrietta Knight has three runners with King George runner-up Best Mate ridden by Jim Culloty appearing the pick. Paul Nicholls runs Shotgun Willy and 1999 Gold Cup winner See More Business.
