Trouble impresses ahead of Gold Cup

Looks Like Trouble continues to please trainer Noel Chance in his preparation for the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup. The 10-year-old went well in a gallop this morning and is on course to defend the crown he claimed in 2000.

He trounced Florida Pearl at Down Royal on his next run after that famous success but injury then intervened before he won with the minimum of fuss at Wincanton on his long-awaited return to action last month.

Chance made the decision not to run him again before his big date at Prestbury Park but he delighted big-race jockey Richard Johnson in a gallop after racing at Kempton last week.
