Florida Pearl has been selected to represent Ireland in the Nakayama Grand Jump in Japan in April. The Willie Mullins-trained horse was the pick of seven Irish contenders. Flagship Uberalles will represent Britain while France will be represented by Line Marine.
Florida Pearl is also set to run in the Cheltenham Gold Cup next month and holds an entry for the Aintree Grand National on April 6. The Japanese race will take place a week later on April 13.
Meanwhile, the Irish Turf Club has dismissed Mullins' appeal against Scolardy's disqualification on February 10. Scolardy won the Cashman's Bookmaker Juvenile Hurdle but was subsequently disqualified after being judged to have interfered with the progress of second-placed Newhall.
