Seven race programme for Clonmel

David Wachman saddled a short-priced double at Thurles last Thursday, and he can repeat the feat on this seven race card with Star of Caulry and Ballylusky.

Star of Caulry scored over 3m at that Thurles meeting, and he is fancied to follow up despite a big drop in distance in the 2m2f novice chase.

The opposition appears quite modest in this 13-runner affair, and a convincing win could secure a crack at Cheltenham's 4m National Hunt Chase.

Ballylusky shaped well when a close-up third to Big-And-Bold in a Down Royal novice last week, and looks the one to be on in the amateur riders 3m handicap chase.

Whatatouch, third to Eskimo Jack on his debut in a 30 runner event at Navan last month, will be difficult to beat in the 5yo maiden hurdle.

Skibb showed promise over timber at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting, and may prove the answer to the bumper.
